This notice explains how Ruva Home ("RUVA", "we") handles personal data collected through www.ruvahome.com.my. It is written to meet Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

When you browse, we collect standard technical information your browser sends — IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived. This is used in aggregate to understand which parts of the site are useful.

When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to tell us, which usually means your name, contact details and what you are asking about.

When you submit a dealer enquiry, we ask for your business name, contact name, email, phone, the territory you operate in and the kind of business you run, so that we can assess a potential dealership. The form sends this to us as an email; it is not stored in a database on this site.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel to measure the response to advertising. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and both share data with their providers — Google and Meta — who act as independent controllers of what they receive.

These tools are loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, which runs them from Cloudflare's network rather than in your browser. That reduces what is executed on your device, but it does not change what is ultimately shared with Google and Meta.

You can opt out at the browser level, through your browser's cookie settings or an extension that blocks trackers. Doing so does not affect your ability to use any part of this site.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which sets cookies necessary for security and for keeping the service available — for example to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. These are operational rather than commercial, and the site cannot be delivered safely without them.

The dealer enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. It looks at signals from your browser to make that decision. It does not track you across sites and is not used for advertising.

To answer your enquiry, to assess a dealership application, to understand which parts of the site are working, and to measure whether our advertising reaches the right people. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Our service providers, in the ordinary course of running the site: Cloudflare (delivery, security and the anti-bot check on the enquiry form), Twilio SendGrid (which delivers the enquiry email to us), Google and Meta (as described above), and our hosting provider. Where a dealership is being discussed, the relevant details may be shared internally with the people handling that territory.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was given, and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep business records. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's own settings and is not held by us in a form that identifies you.

Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose, or withdraw a consent you have given. You may also limit how we process it.
