Before you start
Four short pages. Eleven fields are required and the rest are optional. Almost all of it is easier at the door on the day than from memory a month later.
Your name, contact number and the installation address
The address of the door the lock is fitted to, which is not always the address you were billed at.
The model and serial number
The serial is on the label inside the door panel, visible once the battery cover is off.
Purchase date, installation date, and who did the fitting
Both dates are asked for separately, along with your dealer and the name of whoever installed it.
Three photos: the lock, its serial label, your invoice
The lock from the front, a close shot of the serial number label, and your invoice or installation report. All three are required, which is the main reason this is easier at the door than later.
